The story is set a few years after the events of RE7, wherein Ethan and Mia are now living peacefully in a snowy remote location. In this title, you play in the first-person perspective again and control Ethan Winters, the protagonist of the previous game. This gameplay style had been a divergence from the action-shooter genre of Resident Evil 5 and Resident Evil 6 and instead, had been a return to the original games’ survival horror focus on exploration. The development time was a total of 2 months. Every asset is custom made, but the game itself is completely free and cannot be sold due to it being a fan game.Resident Evil Village, also known as “ Resident Evil 8”, follows up on both of RE7’s storyline and gameplay. L/Y - Shoot (only if a weapon is equipped).I chose the first level of the original "Castlevania" for NES, mixed in with the Castle Dimitrescu section of "RE: Village". The first thing I thought while playing "Resident Evil: Village" was how much it reminded me of "Castlevania", so I thought I'd make a mash up of the two. The combat and platforming are faster passed and more complex, but the game will still pose a challenge. I took the lessons learned here to heart and the atmosphere will match "Residentvania" quite well. It's mainly inspired by "Castlevania" and "Prince of Persia: Sands of Time".
